From elite pilots, smugglers and Jedi Knights to royalty and politicians, Alpha Base is geared up to resist the Dark Side and any invasion of Imperial troops.
Based in the Greater Seattle Area of Washington State, this rag-tag group formed as part of the Rebellion to stop the takeover of the galaxy by followers of the Darkside of the Force.
We are a premier costuming group representing the Light Side character costumes from the Star Wars universe. We are not a performance group to put on a show of scenes from film or act out parts from film and video games. Our mission is to provide film quality, life-like characters for fans to witness in the real world for photo family fun.
The Rebel Legion
We are the local Pacific Northwest Chapter of the Rebel Legion and are part of a large and ever growing international fan base for the Star Wars universe. The Rebel Legion has outposts and bases in nearly every corner of the globe, including the United States, Canada, Japan, France, and many more. As of the May 2010 Census the Rebel Legion consists of 37 Bases, 7 Outposts, and 1545 Active Members.
Alpha Base
The group consists of normal people who love to recreate the costumes seen in the Star Wars movie saga. We do it simply for the love of the stories and films, the fun of dressing up, the challenge of recreation and opportunities to serve our communities. Members have attended movie screenings, participated in events such as conventions, auctions, and the like, for the support of local and national charities, always providing in costume photo opportunities with the characters from Star Wars. Garrison Titan
We often attend events with our sister organization, the 501st Legion (also known as "The Stormtroopers"). Washington's local 501st Legion branch is Garrison Titan. They look menacing, but they're as warm hearted as we when it comes to helping our communities and having a great time doing so.
Cer'kurshi Clan
The Cer'kurshi Clan is Washington's chapter of the Mandalorian Mercs Costume Club. Alpha Base and Garrison Titan have a very strong working relationship with the members of the Cer'Kurshi Clan. A number of "Mando Mercs" are also Legion and 501st members. We consider the Mandos to be a wonderful addition to any non-canon event. Who doesn't love bounty hunters?
